The netball team comprises young women of myriad personalities with a passion for a team sport. Very young in age, the team is slowly building up strength both physically and mentally to put up a strong fight till the final whistle. Punggol Netball believes in holistic development for all girls and work towards achieving their full potential. We also aim to uphold the team dynamics through team-bonding activities both in and out of school.

Student’s reflection:

Today we made our way to Sekolah Sukan Tungku Mahkota Ismail (SSTMI). The students there were very amicable and disciplined. They led us to do the warm up without their coach having to tell them what to do. This is something that we can learn that from them as it is a good practice of self-management. They understood the drills very well and they are very focused during their training. They are also very positive and encouraging. From time to time they would encourage one another by giving ‘Hi-5’ everytime they manage to score a goal or complete a drill. When they see us slowing down or panting, they would give us words of encouragement and that really helps as it motivates us and encourages us to push ourselves to do even better. – Charlene, 4D
