You can choose for the textbooks to be delivered to your home (charges apply).

Alternatively, you may pick them up at the school bookshop. Please visit www.picktime.com/oapl to choose a timeslot for the pick-up. 

Only one parent and/or student may be allowed into the school for the pick-up of textbooks and purchase of uniform. You will be required to show the email confirmation of the timeslot to enter the school. Individuals who did not make prior appointments for textbook or uniform will unfortunately be unable to enter the school.

FAQs


1.     Should I buy my school books on 22 December 2020?

You can buy your uniforms and books on 23 December and 28-30 December 2020. However, you will only be given your house allocation on 28 December, which will determine the colour of PE T-shirt to buy.


2.     How do I purchase the school books?

3.     Do I purchase all the books in the booklist?

No. Students are advised not to purchase MTL books, especially if they are considering to take Higher Mother Tongue Language (MTL). 

If students are offered SBB and choose to take up the offer, they are reminded to purchase the right textbook based on the level of the subject.

If students are unsure on what books to buy, students may clarify this with their form teacher on the first day of school. 

Alternatively, students may purchase their books but are advised not to write their name of them so that the books can be exchanged at a later date.

5.     Should I purchase the school uniform if I am appealing to another secondary school?

You need not purchase the school uniform yet, and can continue to wear your primary school uniform for the first week of school.


6.     Can I purchase uniform and books on another day?

Yes. The dates and time of bookshop opening hours are available on the school website


7.     Do I need to purchase a school tie?

Yes. Tie day is every Monday of the week. Eventually when students do not need to wear masks, students are expected to wear full school uniform together with the tie, on Tie Day.  


8.     What time do I report to school on 4 January 2021?

Please be in school, in your respective classroom, by 730am. Parents will not be allowed to enter the school but will be able to see the various orientation activities during the parent engagement session on Friday, 8 Jan evening.


9.     Can I report to school on 4 January 2021 in my primary school uniform?

Yes. You can use your primary school uniform for the first week of school. You can purchase your secondary school uniform from the school vendor during the first week of school too.
