More information on Home-Based Learning (HBL)
In line with the Multi-Ministry Taskforce's latest efforts to further enhance safe distancing measures, schools will step up their safe distancing measures. From 8 April 2020, all MOE schools will shift to full Home-Based Learning (HBL) till 4 May 2020.
Instructions for HBL
By 12 pm daily
There will be about 5 hours of HBL lessons every day. Please refer to the HBL timetable here.
There will be about 30 minutes of face-to-face interaction with English, Mother Tongue, Science subjects, Mathematics, Humanities subjects and CCE per week. This is to enable students to meet their teacher virtually for feedback and clarification.
SLS and other online platformsThe Singapore Student Learning Space (SLS) will be the key platform to support schools in their home-based learning (HBL) measures.
Other possible online platforms include:
- Google classroom (using gaps email account (full firstname.lastname@example.org)
- Google Meet (using gaps email account (full email@example.com)
To reset password on SLS
1. Do try to reset your own password first, by clicking on ‘forgot password’.
2. If you face any technical difficulties or need help to reset your password, please click ‘Reset of Student’s Accounts’ on the school website. Do inform your FT if you have done so and we will share with you your new password via whatsapp/ email.
The school remains open for students who are not able to have their HBL done at home. Students may approach the school for assistance.
